FAQ

There have been a few repeat questions in correspondence with my customer friends, so here's the answers for those inquiring minds.

Q. What do I have to bring with me?

A.
Whatever you want.  Bring the supplies you will need for the projects you would like to work on. There will be some items for sale (retired paper, ribbon, embellishments) but you should plan to bring all consumable supplies you'd like to use.

Q. What tools will be there for me to use?

A.                 *over 75 current stamp sets
*all current colours of Stampin' Up! classic ink pads
*a Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine for dry embossing and die cutting
*over 40 die collections including alphabet dies
                    *more than 15 embossing folders
                    *heat tool for heat embossing
                    *over 20 handheld punches

Q. Do I have to be a scrapbooker or cardmaker to attend?

A. No.  Bring whatever supplies you will need for whatever papercraft you're in to!

Q. Will there be any guidance? Or am I going to be left on my own to create?

A. If you want help, just ask.  :)  If you want to be left alone, that's ok too.

Q. Can I bring my baby/toddler/child/teen?

A. No, this is an adult only event.

Q. I am also a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, can I attend?

A. Yes. But please refrain from speaking about your own business at all at this event.

Q: What happens if social gatherings are prohibited during the time the retreat is to be held?
A: You will receive a partial refund of your retreat fee ($75) and the retreat will be held as an online event October 21st & 22nd. You are responsible for cancelling your hotel room and the hotel cancellation policy will apply.

Q: What happens if there is a masking mandate or social distancing in place during the time the retreat is to be held?
A: All retreat attendees will be required to abide by all town, provincial, and federal laws/mandates. The conference space is large enough to accommodate social distancing and if masks are required they must be worn - covering your nose, mouth, and chin at all times.

Q: Can I cancel my spot and attend the online retreat if I decide not to attend in person (and the event is still permitted to go ahead)?
A: Yes, however there will be no refunds or partial refunds of your retreat fees. You will receive your swag bag, make n' take supplies, and any other gifts you would have received in person, via Canada Post. You are responsible for cancelling your hotel room and the hotel cancellation policy will apply.

If you have any additional questions feel free to contact me and I'll get back to you asap.
